Cat Cabinet and reading list

Last Sunday, I visited a cat museum called the Kattenkabinet (or Cat Cabinet in English) in Amsterdam. It’s really tiny, with just a couple of rooms with cat paintings, sculptures and posters. It costs a quite hefty € 5,- to enter (about $ 6.50,-), but it is worth it. Not because of the art, which is nice as well, but because of al the cats walking about:

 WHAT!

 Don’t disturbe me

I have been reading a lot of great books lately. A sample:

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson

The Lost Continent: Travels in Small-Town America again by Bill Bryson

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon

I especially like A Short History, because it is filled with funny and mindboggling facts about the universe and life as we know it today. Makes everyday problems seem small for a little while before self pity takes over again!
