I Love to Hate You

February 20, 2009

No, not you my lovely reader(s), you are all pretty and divine. But sometimes, when you are angry at something or someone you just want to lash out. But I think the best strategy is to find love within you and erase the hate. But while you’re working on that (because we’re not all Dalai Lama-esque), I suggest to love the hate! And you know who does that best? Boone! My new crush object in the kitty world.

Boone is Julie’s cat, who came up with the brilliant Kitty Wigs. And also the wonderful kits from Subversive Cross Stitch. Really, get some, I’m thinking of treating myself to this gem:

It’s good hate sometimes, beeyatch! And to prove that some mental aggression can be fantastically funny, I present to you, Boone, after the jump.

Roefes is a naggy nag

February 18, 2009

It has been established by now that Roefes is one of my favourite cats. Unfortunately, he is also the master of nagging, king of whining, prince of whimpering. Wow, ok, I got carried away there, but really, it is quite something. So what did I do? I filmed him doing his thang on my crappy digital camera in a semi-lit room. This means the sound is good enough to make you want to stab yourself in the ears, but the image quality of the video is hideous and atrocious. My humble apologies. But if you start whining about it, just remember who does it best.

Click on if you’re ready to get nagged at!

Cats in the Met

February 17, 2009

When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is a great museum, worthy of spending many more hours than the four I gave it. And cats were everywhere, truly an inspiration for artists of all ages. I just thought I’d share some with you.

Bobcat butts

February 15, 2009

Why hello there! It has been a while since I posted, time does fly when you’re studying and socializing with friends and so on. But I never forget you, lovely readers, because you’re all pretty and smell nice. So, I promise to give you at least three posts this week. This is easy, because some lovely people have provided me with kick-ass pictures of their own, of bobcats and owls. And isn’t that what Cats ‘n Stuff is all about? Also, I will be cat-sitting Roefes the coming two weeks, so those posts basically write themselves.

So, are you ready for some Bobcat action? Good. And beware, those naughty bobcats love to show their butts.
